needs
  1. Organizing and transporting tech and other items for work

  2. Keep devices safe from falls, liquids, etc.

frustrations
  1. Doesn't want to buy another bag

  2. Tech organizers out there all look/operate the same

   - they're developed with one user demographic's aesthetic in mind, so it's hard to find one she can get excited about buying

  1. Products out there either lack necessary padding or are only made to store one device/ item.

WHat we want
  • Organization

  • Padding/ protection for items

  • Hold variety of items- not exclusive to tech but accomadating to it

  • Hold items of different sizes and organizational needs

  • Easy to look through on the go

something unique, something she can be excited about unlike these :(

File folders have an interesting pleated element that allows them to be expanded

Paper bags have a simpler pleat comprable to the file folder

Can I make a desk organizer to-go?

Models
laptop bag model 2.jpg

I made many low-fidelity paper and muslin models. A concern was how to create a snug-fit that worked for all laptop sizes

Here I am experimenting with quilted-style padding and using fabric scraps to stuff the case and how to make it work in favor of the appearance and feel of the case instead of against it.
